Land's End Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs was founded in 1999, after Winifred met her first swissy in a tack shop in Kentucky in the early 90s. It only took one swissy, named Elsa, and soon they become a permanent fixture. Drawing on her experience raising and breeding thoroughbred race horses, Winifred build Land's End Swissies from the ground up. Recognized as American Kennel Club Breeder of Merit, we strive to produce happy, healthy swissies that honor the breeds original standard. Land's End has produced generations of champion show dogs, as well as beloved family companions.
